Terms and conditions
These terms apply when you use this website or buy from Threads of Providence (“we”, “us”). By placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them, along with our privacy policy.
Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send the confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order, including after confirming it, if an item is unavailable, if a price or description was listed in error, or if the order looks fraudulent. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund you in full.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars. Shipping and any sales tax are shown at checkout before you pay. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, processed securely by Stripe and PayPal, and your payment is taken when you place the order.
Personalized products
When you personalize a product, we print exactly what you enter, so check the spelling, dates and the preview before you order. You confirm that you have the right to use the words and names you give us. We may decline to print anything unlawful, hateful or that infringes someone else’s rights, and we will refund that order.
Made to order
Many of our products are printed when you order them, so production time comes before shipping time. Colors can look slightly different on screen than in person, and garment measurements can vary a little from the size charts. The sizing and care page has the details.
Shipping
We ship to addresses in the United States. Shipping charges are shown at checkout, and orders of $60 or more ship free. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. We will email you when your order ships. If your package is lost or arrives damaged, email us and we will make it right.
Returns and refunds
- 30 days. You can return an item within 30 days of delivery. Email [email protected] with your order number to start a return.
- Condition. Returned items must be unworn, unwashed and in the condition you received them.
- Personalized items are made for you alone. We cannot take one back for a change of mind, but we will replace or refund it if it arrives damaged or defective, or is not what you ordered.
- Our mistakes are on us. If an item arrives damaged, defective or wrong, send us a photo within 30 days of delivery and we will replace or refund it at no cost to you, with no need to send it back.
- Return shipping for any other return is paid by you.
- Refunds go to your original payment method once we receive the return.
Our designs
The designs, text, photographs and artwork on this site belong to Threads of Providence or are used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or sell them without our written permission.
Using this site
Please do not use the site for anything unlawful, try to disrupt it or gain access to parts of it you are not meant to reach, or place orders using someone else’s payment details. If you create an account, keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for orders placed with it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our products and this site are provided as they are, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Threads of Providence is based.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version posted here when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
